From live workshops to digital support.

For six years, Annemarie trained teachers, therapists and homeschooling parents through personal and small-group workshops at Yellow Tree Training Centre. This digital programme extends that practical guidance beyond the classroom.

Annemarie is very knowledgeable and draws on her many years of experience. It was very informative and it makes me excited to teach the children again.

The depth of knowledge, support and resources you provided is unmatched, I am confident it will serve me for a lifetime. Unlike many other training programs that often feel incomplete or overlook critical areas, yours is truly holistic. Everything one could possibly need and more is included and ready to use.

Homeschooling Parents

No more unrelated worksheets to be downloaded. The support material provided is based on sound educational principles and methodologies. Provides systematic steps how to teach struggling readers PLUS differentiated resource material to meet individual needs. Does not require training as a teacher.

Classroom & Remedial Teachers

Differentaited text across 4 levels of reading difficulty enable teachers at Resource Centres to adapt lessons according to individual needs. Students with “high intensity needs” are well catered for here.

Therapists & Learning Support

Provides assessment tools, recording sheets and differentiated resource material to support learners with special needs, individually or in small groups.

How all this came about.

Annemarie Roux is an Educational Psychologist and Master Learning Support Specialist with decades of experience in special-needs education.

“One day, while co-teaching, with a colleague in a Grade 6 Language lesson, I saw a nervous and tearful boy at the back of the class unable to complete his writing activity...

His words to me were: 'Please give me words. I know what I want to write - I just don’t have the words'.

This changed the direction of my life in education. I feverishly and urgently started developing support and training programmes for teachers: to develop vocabulary skills, to learn about sound methodologies to teach struggling readers and to provide differentiated resources for classroom implementation."

Venture into Vowels answers the questions she hears most often:
What do I do? Where do I even start? Where do I get suitable
support material to meet my struggling reader’s special needs?
What educators say

Practical. Empowering. Ready to use.

Loved the practical activities and ideas shared. I am eager to use these in class.
